One to One Mentoring for Youth
Mentoring is a caring and supportive one-to-one relationship that encouragesindividuals to develop their fullest potential by helping them develop his/her own    vision for the future.
청소년들의 건전한 성장을 추구하기 위해 전문직에 종사하는 한인 1.5세와 2세들이 중,고등학생들을 대상으로 롤 모델 역할과 도움을 제공
     
Like a “Big Brother, Big Sister” concept, mentors will spend quality time with mentees to listen to and spend time with them. Through these activities, mentors       will be good role models and help them make good decisions.
이 프로그램은 한인 청소년들의 건전한 성장을 유도하고 청소년기의 방황과 갈등으로 인한 문제를 사전 예방하는데 목적을 두고 있습니다.  1.5세 및 2세의 KAC 전문직 종사자들이 중고생 학생들과 밀접한 관계를 유지, 그들의 고민도 들어주고, 함께 즐거운 시간을 보내며 맏형, 맏언니 역할을 하게 됩니다.

Mentors (후원자): 1.5 or 2nd generation working professionals who are members                                  of KAC-DC  한미 연합회 회원으로 전문직에 종사하는 1.5/2세
Mentees (대상): Korean-American Middle and High School students 중, 고등학교 학생

Program (프로그램): Mentors will meet with mentee in person at least once a  month and                                         communicate with mentee at least once a week via email or phone                                         한 달에 한 번씩 만나고 매주 한 번씩 전화나 이메일로 연락함
Fee (등록비):  $35 per person due when returning the application form 
                           등록비는 일인당 35불
